Every great meal has a story. This is ours.

Highly Flavored was born from two passions: a love for serving others and a belief that life's greatest moments deserve unforgettable food.

We are Giovanni and Paula Martinez—a husband-and-wife team who built Highly Flavored together from the ground up.

Paula is the heart of our kitchen. Long before Highly Flavored became a business, she was the person family, friends, and our church turned to whenever there was something worth celebrating. Whether it was a birthday, baby shower, holiday gathering, or community event, she poured her heart into every dish she prepared. Her gift has never been just cooking—it's making people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved through food.

Over the years, one comment became impossible to ignore:

"You need to start your own business."

At the time, Paula was giving everything she had to building someone else's dream. One day I asked her a simple question:

"If you're willing to work this hard for someone else's business, what could we build if we put that same passion into our own?"

That single conversation changed our lives.

As a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran who served during the Iraq War, I learned that success is built on discipline, commitment, integrity, and serving others before yourself. Those same values became the foundation of Highly Flavored. Together, we combined Paula's culinary talent with my passion for building systems, creating exceptional customer experiences, and serving our community.

Today, Highly Flavored is more than a catering company.

It's a family-owned hospitality company dedicated to creating experiences that bring people together. Whether we're serving an intimate dinner for twenty or a corporate event for hundreds, every table is prepared with the same care and attention we'd give our own family.

Our mission has never been simply to feed people.

Our mission is to create moments people will remember long after the last plate has been cleared.

Above all, we believe every blessing we've received comes from God. Our success is not measured only by the events we cater, but by the lives we have the privilege to serve.
